Download Google Chrome 14 - Best Internet Browser Ever!

Google has announced the release of Chrome 14 Web browser. With release of this stable version, Google’s Chrome 14 has now taken the lead towards the finishing spot of being labelled as the best internet browser among them all. Google’s Chrome web browser just keeps getting better with every new release. When Firefox wanted to speed up its path of development, it didn’t meet with much success. Some people say that it, in fact, became less stable. There is a general consensus now that the Chrome 14 is clearly the best web browser for any operating system that is available today.

Rumors: Android "Jelly Bean" comes after Ice Cream Sandwich!

Starting with Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb and the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich, the rumors are on the way that next update of android will be 'Jelly Bean'. If you look at code name of previous versions of android, all are in alphabetical order. Google had announced its plans for the next update of Android which is called Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) and that the company will be launching it by Q4 this year. Well, now the name of the successor for ICS is already out and is making news. The new update will probably be called Jelly Bean, however the name or the version number has not been confirmed by Google as of yet.

Google to acquire Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion

Yesterday earlier, Google announced that they are acquiring Motorola Mobility, the handset maker's mobile phone division for a sum of $12.5 billion. Google is now going directly into the hardware business in a very serious fashion, and into direct competition with licensees of its Android operating system. But Google also said it wants to acquire Motorola Mobility to defend against patent lawsuits levied by its competitors.

Google will pay $40 per share in cash – a premium of 63% over the stock's trading price yesterday morning. As of yesterday morning, Motorola Mobility's stock was trading at $38.21 a share on the New York Stock Exchange.

Google Translate is Now Supporting Five New Indian Languages

Exploring its services, Google has included five new Indian languages to its translation service. Google Translate, which now supports five new experimental alpha languages: Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. In India and Bangladesh alone, more than 500 million people speak these five languages. Earlier to this Google Language Translation supports Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam & Punjabi. Currently Google translate supports 63 different languages.

Google confirms Street View is coming to India!

Google has finally confirmed that they are bringing Google Street View to India! They are going to start with the city of Bangalore. Google announced that they will begin imagery collection in Bangalore for the Street View feature in Google Maps.

Google cars and trikes will begin driving and taking street level photographs of public locations around the city. The images will be made available at a later date in Street View on Google Maps.
