3D virtual desktop for windows XP

You must be amazed after seeing the Flip3D effect in Windows Vista. But that Flip3D is made exclusively for Windows Vista. So much of the newer features and products, such as Flip 3D, are being packaged strictly for Vista but not Windows XP.

But certain software companies, such as Stardock & Otaku, are making such applications that brings the realism of Windows Vista in Windows XP. One such feature is Flip 3D.

1. Yod3D: Yod’m 3D is a virtual desktop manager conceived for Windows XP and Windows Vista. Like Beryl, on Linux, it is the rotation of a 3D cube which allows you to change your desktop.

2. TopDesk: TopDesk brings a Mac OS X Expose-like experience to Windows XP and Windows Vista. With TopDesk, you can harness the full power of your current hardware and experience Flip3D-like window switching on Windows XP and Windows Vista Home Basic.

3. Deskspace: This is another application from the creators of Topdesk. It is developed by the same person who has developed Yod’m 3D. Lot of work has been done to make it a lot better. As topdesk it is available for a 14 day trial period.
