Google Chrome 11.0.686.0 Dev and Chrome 9.0.597.107 Stable Versions Available for Download

Google has made available new builds of Chrome Browser Dev and Stable channels. Google Chrome 11.0.686.0 can now be downloaded through the Dev Channel and its available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Google was updated its beta Channel before last week.

Google Chrome 11.0.686.0 Dev version features a number of improvements, including fixes for stability and compatibility issues. The latest release of Chrome Dev will be more reliable when using FTP, and that the bookmark manager and other extensions will also deliver a better experience, thanks to the bugs resolved by the Mountain View-based search giant. The JavaScript engine in this version has advanced even further, with V8 updated to 3.1.6.1.
The new Dev updated allow to Accelerated compositing turned on by default (use --disable-accelerated-layers to disable). Also fixed a bug affecting the bookmark manager and other extensions and. Google also off the GPU acceleration and WebG for Windows XP users only.

The stable channel has been updated to 9.0.597.107 for all platforms. The new version of Google Chrome stable has a number of security issues fixed, most of them carrying a high severity rating. If you using Google Chrome 9, than should be update to new Build 9.0.597.107 as soon as possible.
