Mozilla Firefox 4 Stable Released for Android and Maemo

Mozilla has released the stable version of Firefox 4 for Android and Meemo. Firefox 4 now available in more than 10 languages. Firefox 4 for smartphones features tabbed browsing, one touch bookmarking and Firefox sync that lets you sync history, bookmarks, open tabs, passwords and form data with the desktop browser but doesn't support Flash playback.

The new Firefox 4 has lots of bug fixed, various improved features and extreme customizability. This version has new controls with the highly customizable interface with add-ons supports. There are now over 150 add-ons for Firefox for mobile. Now you can also save page as pdf using Save to PDF feature. Page sharing is very easy now and also added options to add custom search engines.

Firefox 4 enable you to type less with the Awesome Screen, which gives you one-tap access to your bookmarks, history and custom list of search engines. Tabbed browsing allows for easy navigation and fast switching between Web sites with just one swipe of your finger. The new Firefox 4 is 3 times faster than the default stock browser on Android. The JavaScript engine is very improved to increased the page load performance. Scrolling and page rendering are significantly faster and much smoother, showing far less checkerboarding. Reducing memory and optimizing CPU usage are ongoing themes.
The developer tools include support for IPv6 on Android, CSS, support for HTML5 online/offline events, Canvas and SVG support, Location-Aware Browsing, device orientation, accelerometer, desktop notifications. Firefox 4 mobile using same technology as desktop version of Firefox.
