Facebook to Unveil Two Android Smartphones Manufactured by HTC

According to some news HTC will unveil two new Facebook branded mobile phones next month. The social networking giant Facebook has licensed the brand. HTC will be launching two new Facebook smartphones at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Both Facebook Phone runs on modified version of Android match the color scheme and branding of social network. They support Facebook IM as well as push your Facebook news feed to the home screen. They might also include facility to call or email friends from information stored on their Facebook page.
previously some news claim that Facebook not have any intention of getting in on the mobile phone space with a so-called Facebook Phone.

According to CityAM, Facebook team members Joe Hewitt and Matthew Papakipos are the primary Facebook liaisons for the project.

The other specifications of the HTC Facebook phones currently not confirmed but one of them will be a physical QWERTY slider to allow for easier text entry for hardcore Facebook fans. Both are the high-end smartphones and price should be high.
