Flash Player 10.2 Final Released with Support of Android 3.1

Adobe has released the Flash Player 10.2 final and its available in the Android Market. Flash Player 10.2 final features lots of improvements and support for Android 3.1 Honeycomb which will feature Hardware accelerated video presentation.
According to Adobe, “Today we are releasing FlashPlayer 10.2 for Android Honeycomb devices, available for download from Android Market. This is a production GA (General Availability) release for Android 2.2 (Froyo), 2.3 (Gingerbread), and 3.0.1+ (Honeycomb) devices. Please check with your device manufacturer or carrier to ensure you have the latest firmware update for your device. For Android 3 tablet devices, we highly recommend that you update your OS to an upcoming release of Android 3 (Honeycomb) to ensure that Flash Player delivers the best experience possible.”

Its mean when Android 3.1 update will available for tablet, users would be able to take advantage of hardware accelerated video presentation feature and enhanced browser integration. The new released brings a lots of bug fixes. Flash Player 10.2 release includes a security update addressing the Flash Player vulnerability announced on April 15th for all versions of Android.

This final release will take advantage of Google’s enhancements in an upcoming update to Honeycomb, including hardware accelerated playback of 720p high-definition video. The users of Android 3.0.1 will not experience these improvements until their devices receive the update to new version of OS.
